Coming to awareness La Kun kept his eyes closed as he felt and observed his surroundings he knew he was injured and poisoned by the arrow that Ling Qi shot at him, and he was amazed because surviving all those years in Shadow clan she had mastered the knowledge of poison and she was capable to kill anyone with a single pin prick let alone an arrow, still letting his heart rate remain calm he listened to the discussion ongoing next to him.
He heard the little Miss talking to Ling Qi " I knew our poison strength was not upto the par, if not he should have died in that hit, it's because we were unable to scavange enough herbs that you wanted, while also arranging my daily needs and modifying weapons you had lack of time. He is also powerful enough to acclimate himself from the toxicity".
There was a pause of silence as La Kun understood Ling Qi signed something, he wanted to see what she wanted to say but he knew Ling Qi would know that he was awake and that would be a missed opportunity.

HwaHwa looked at La Kun attentively not surprised that he woke so soon " conditions what conditions".
La Kun explained " Condition 1 Ling Qi will be my Co- mentor, she will assist me during the training and will remain within 5 feet distance around me during training hour. Condition 2 I believe looking at her appearance young Miss is 10 years old after 2 years of training she will join shadow clan young protege in completing her training for 3 years".
Ling Qi stood up her eyes blazing fire as she understood the condition and what it would entail, angrily she signed " I can't believe you will make my young Miss survive that same hell that we both cleared by walking on hot lava, not only we lost our childhood we also lost our humanity and innocence, I won't let my young Miss suffer such torture, after what she has already gone through in this house".
La Kun smiled, he thought Ling Qi will object being a co mentor but this objection he could tackle.
" Ling Qi, I know I have not given you any reason to trust me but now as I am the head of shadow clan I have made changes in the training format, this training will not cause the young assasin to kill each other to survive but we will reward those who can guide others in survival, though there are life threatening risks but I believe in those 2 years we will make her fit enough to survive the harsh training condition, if you can't trust me trust yourself, as you will train her to survive any danger she would face in this life.
Accepting the response, HwaHwa quickly presented the tea to her master La Kun, starting a new phase in her life.
