With soft steps and a calm expression, Kenjaku walked through the tomb with indifference. His wounds, previously on display, healed quickly, and his cursed energy output was restored to an acceptable level.

A tough battle, he had to admit. His son had been a formidable opponent, and it was truly a shame that it had to end this way.

He just hoped the boy's body remained intact enough so he could perform a swap in the future.

It might sound arrogant, but Kenjaku was confident that the Umibozu was enough to defeat his son—especially considering he had been pulled into the curse's incomplete domain. Even Kenjaku would have had trouble in that environment.

That's why he didn't even worry and simply made his way to where Tengen's physical body should reside.

A great opening act, Kenjaku had to admit. It had been a long time since he'd been pushed into a corner like that.

But in the end, as expected, the only one left standing was him—

"Hey."

"..."

Kenjaku stopped as a voice sounded beside him, making him turn to see Tengen standing there with arms crossed. His expression was strange, but irritation and fear were evident.

Even though at this point Tengen was more curse than human, his concern for the future of sorcerers was genuine. So seeing Kenjaku take one of his most talented sorcerers to an unknown place left him deeply uneasy—especially since that sorcerer was the only one who could theoretically take his place as Master of Jujutsu.

Even if Kenjaku absorbed him, as long as Itadori was still alive, the future still had a chance to shine… But if Itadori was dead, that would be the worst possible outcome.

And if Itadori really had been killed, then Tengen would have to use everything at his disposal to defeat Kenjaku here and now.

"What was that? What did you do to the boy?"

"..." Kenjaku didn't answer immediately, a sigh escaping as he pouted slightly, clearly not appreciating the presence of his old friend. "What did I do? Isn't it obvious? I won."

The hermit's four eyes narrowed. "He wouldn't fall that easily."

"You can choose to believe whatever you want." Kenjaku simply waved his hand, signaling for Tengen to leave him alone. "I really don't care… But you didn't come here just to ask me that, did you?"

"Of course not, you know me after all…" Tengen spat with a hint of venom—something truly unusual for his normally calm and indifferent persona. "I'm just a distraction."

Crack!

When the barrier shattered just behind Kenjaku, a fist burst through, flying toward the curse user's head like a bullet.

!

But to both the attacker's and Tengen's surprise, Kenjaku tilted his head slightly, dodged the punch, grabbed his assailant's wrist, and slammed them to the ground with a powerful shoulder throw—followed by a wave of curses pushing them away.

"I've suffered too many sneak attacks to be caught off guard again."

The attacker's body rolled to a stop beside Tengen, and a bruised Yuki stood up with a bloodied grin. "Shit."

"Yuki Tsukumo, still holding on, I see," Kenjaku mocked. Yuki was a threat, but after their last clash, he doubted she still had the same strength. Nothing more than a delay in his eyes.

"And you're still the biggest coward I know." She spat blood and wiped her lips. "Had to send the kid away because you were getting your ass kicked."

"I just had the better hand." Kenjaku shrugged, unaffected by the taunt. "And against you, I'll prove I still do."

Yuki's eyes widened as she saw him move his hands—her body instantly going on high alert as she brought her own hands together.

"Don't waste more of my time." Kenjaku brought his fingers together, his cursed energy expanding in every direction.

Yuki smiled. Her domain expansion couldn't compare to Kenjaku's, but with no other choice, she let her cursed energy spread. She didn't know what had happened to Itadori, but she hoped he wasn't dead.

So, using everything she had, she had to buy time. Minutes, seconds, milliseconds—however long she could last, she had to endure!

She would give her own life if needed!

"Domain Expansion…"

"Domain Expansion!"

The cursed pillar formed behind Kenjaku, but Yuki's barrier threatened to swallow him, cursed energies of the two domains colliding and exploding in all directions.

"Womb Profusion."

"Endless Star Heart!!"

Their voices echoed across the battlefield, their cursed energies clashing to determine which would dominate.

But as expected, it only took a few seconds for Yuki to feel her domain being overwhelmed—sweat dripping from her brow as she struggled to keep the barrier up.

Meanwhile, Kenjaku remained still, indifferent, barely reacting to the clash—simply waiting for Yuki to falter so he could finish her off once and for all.

'Futile effort,' he thought.

"...!"

But just as Yuki seemed about to collapse, surprise washed over their faces when something disrupted their concentration—a third presence bursting into the clash, radiating cursed energy from head to toe.

'What is this?!' Kenjaku wondered in irritation.

"That seaweed bastard gave me more trouble than expected!"

But when that familiar voice reached their ears, Yuki broke into a toothy grin, while a vein popped on Kenjaku's forehead.

"But hey, don't leave me out of the party! Domain Expansion!" And bringing his hands together, a bloodstained Itadori announced his return—his cursed energy spreading as his own barrier entered the clash.

"Hunting Territory!"

The collision of three domains caused a tremor of cursed energy, the barriers becoming erratic as Kenjaku's cursed pillar began to falter.

The curse user gritted his teeth as he struggled to prevent the collapse—but no matter how hard he tried, overpowering two domains in such an unstable situation proved difficult even for him, especially when the goal of his opponents wasn't to win the clash, but to scatter his totem.

'Damn it!' he cursed, stepping back and preparing for his next move.

Crack!

The clash ceased, the barriers shattered, and the cursed pillar crumbled in the blink of an eye. Yuki, the most overwhelmed during the clash, fell to her knees, gasping for air.

But unlike her, Kenjaku and Itadori stared at each other for several seconds—the curse user with a grim expression, and Itadori with a mocking grin.

"So, what's your plan?" Kenjaku asked venomously. "Are we going to fight until we recover our techniques? Once I do, I'll expand my domain again—and this time, Yuki won't be able to help you."

"Well, thinking about it that way…" Itadori scratched his chin, his face thoughtful as he pulled back the sleeve of his jacket.

Kenjaku narrowed his eyes at this, noticing the young sorcerer glance at the last remaining tattoo on his arm.

"Hey, you're pretty knowledgeable when it comes to Jujutsu, right?"

Kenjaku was a bit confused by the question, but didn't bother hiding it. After all, the longer they talked, the more he could recover.

"You could say that."

"That's good. Then you know cursed techniques are imprinted in the brain—more precisely, in the prefrontal cortex, right?"

Kenjaku felt a twinge of suspicion but still nodded.

"So, if I destroyed it and healed it… my technique would be as good as new, right?"

"...Huh?"

Kenjaku blinked, confused by the question.

But Itadori, upon seeing his reaction, just grinned from ear to ear—cursed energy concentrating in his brain for a moment before blood gushed from his nose, his entire body enveloped in cursed energy as the last tattoo on his forearm disappeared.

"What?" Kenjaku stepped back, intimidated as his son's glowing eyes turned on him with hostility. "You… did that?"

"See for yourself." Itadori declared, bringing his hands together as cursed energy erupted in all directions.

"Domain Expansion…"

"Hunting Territory!"
