The Druids ventured across the fire field to conduct a reconnaissance of the camp. They confirmed the news, and the Druid lady with a scar on her face transformed into an eagle and approached Huggesen's chieftain tent.
Built on high ground, not yet engulfed by flames, she cautiously entered and was met with the sight of torn bodies, making her feel a wave of disgust.
Just as she was about to turn and leave, she sensed a dying breath from the Throne Wolf in the corner of the camp.
The Druid lady hesitated a little.
She knew this Throne Wolf named "Deathclaw," Huggesen's most cherished hunting partner. Every time the Great Marshal of the Jackal Wolves made an appearance, Deathclaw was by his side. Many brave warriors have perished under this ravenous wolf's claws.
She ought to kill this ferocious beast here or leave it to burn in the flames, but Deathclaw seemed to sense the approach of a stranger, emitting a series of mournful cries with its last strength.
