The voices on the other end of the call paused when they heard the Fortune-teller, but the grating sound of something being dragged across the floor in the background didn't stop.
Half a second later, that loud voice started again, "Didn't I tell you not to drag it? My floor is all scratched up! I'll help you lift it in a bit!"
The dragging sound stopped as soon as he finished speaking.
It was clear that he was very protective of his floor.
Then, the voice from the phone continued, "Not from our Paradise World? Well, that's difficult. Didn't the train that travels between the various worlds break down completely a while ago? I heard the train conductor wanted to send it to the factory for repairs, but it seems irreparable. Now there's no passage between our worlds…"
As he was speaking, someone on his end called out to him, "When are you going to finish that call? Those Upper Class People outside are raising hell, and there's still a ton to move."
