Just as he had done two years ago when he came, he still aided the tribes along the way against demon beasts, but it was utterly different from his arrival. The tribes were no longer avoiding scattered demon beasts on the plains; instead, packs of demon beasts were hunting these tribes.
The situation was far worse than anticipated.
Masses of demon beasts died, leaving their decomposing corpses strewn across the plains. Meanwhile, many clans that once existed disappeared from the land; human bones were scattered amidst the grass and water.
