"…I don't know," Michael said. "We just woke up here."
He then turned to the teenager sitting next to him and said with a chuckle, "And I found him knocked out cold right next to me."
Koby nodded. If, for some reason, he woke up alone in this dreadful place, he wouldn't know what to do. After all, this was his first time going on a mission with a band of adventurers. Needless to say, it was also the first time he had set foot inside a secret plane.
"I've been very lucky," he said.
Then he turned to Adam, who sat across from them, and said with admiration:
"It's amazing how you can travel through the land at night. I heard the sound of battles and the constant screams. We all did. I don't think I could have done what you did. You are very brave, sir Adam!"
The raven-haired youth glanced at the youngest member of their party, and simply smiled in response.
Brave? He thought in amusement.
