As the sounds of their fierce battle rolled through the entire castle, Adam nonchalantly made his way through the ancient corridors.
Valerian perched upon his shoulder, his topaz eyes darting around with wonder and curiosity.
Unlike the chaotic battle raging behind them, the corridors Adam walked through were eerily silent. The only sounds were the distant booms and crashes echoing from the throne room, accompanied by the occasional tremor that caused dust to fall through the ceiling.
Adam paid them no mind. His hands remained tucked inside his pockets as he leisurely strolled through the ancient castle.
Meanwhile, Valerian craned his little head from side to side, curiously observing everything around him. His eyes widened whenever another thunderous impact echoed through the castle.
The young dragon had clearly realized that the battle between Luca and the Last Knight was a fierce one.
Adam glanced at him from the corner of his eye and smirked. "Worried about Luca?"
