Beside her, Yeying quickly gave Baili Xia a look, pleading with her not to say such obviously rejecting words.
But Baili Xia acted as if she hadn't seen it, completely ignoring him.
She directly picked up her backpack and turned to leave.
Xiaoyao slightly frowned and quickly stepped forward to chase after her.
He reached out, grabbed Baili Xia's arm, and gently pulled her back.
"Don't talk to Uncle like that."
He knew that this girl had become excessively attached to him recently, not wanting to leave his side.
Being with her, unknowingly, he had grown accustomed to being by her side.
But even he could see that Uncle was on the verge of an outburst.
"I don't let others take me," Baili Xia looked at him, clearly filled with resentment!
"That's Uncle." It's not just anybody.
"Still, no."
Baili Xia was being rather unreasonable, unwilling to listen.
For someone like Xiaoyao, who was not good at comforting others, it was even harder to persuade her.
