Xiao Lang ate a mouthful without showing any emotion on his face.
"How is it?" Li Mingxi asked expectantly.
Xiao Lang swallowed the fish and smiled, "It's delicious."
"Really?! This is my first time making red braised fish, surprised it turned out well. Let me taste it." Li Mingxi quickly took a bite, and immediately frowned.
Oh no, she had added too much vinegar and sugar. But it wasn't inedible, just overly flavorful.
"For a first attempt, it's indeed very tasty," Xiao Lang said honestly.
Li Mingxi laughed, "Thank you for the encouragement. I'll do better next time. Quickly taste the other dishes and see how they are."
Xiao Lang tasted each dish and said the flavors were quite good.
Li Mingxi also tasted them, and fortunately, they were edible, though not as tasty as Xiao Lang's cooking, but she could eat them.
Still, Li Mingxi felt a bit defeated: "I was so confident, thinking they would taste great."
