After that little practical lesson, the instructor made good on his word and started the duel with everyone in class.
Ries and Mara went to join that session while the rest of us waited at the side.
Seems like they were going in order of the ranking again which meant that Ries and Mara would be up first.
"Do you think she'll win?" I asked no one in particular as the duel started.
Amber shrugged, "If she's really serious about winning, I believe she should be able to."
The rest also nodded in agreement.
I'm actually surprised they would think so, considering the fact that Ries was technically an engineer instead of a fighter. So if she goes up against a superior fighter, I don't think she could win easily.
Still… I don't think her chances of winning were completely zero so I had hopes for her.
The duel lasted for about five minutes before the VR Capsule popped open and Ries jumped out, prompting Mara to head towards her own VR Capsule as well.
