"Straight flush beats two pairs," The dealer announced before marking me as the winner for everyone on the table to see.
I didn't even have anything to say to that…
It's not like I was really cheating or anything like that… I really just got these cards legitimately…
If Amber was here, I might even believe that she had done something to help me get these cards but since she's not here… This was quite literally just pure luck.
Everyone at the table was looking at Vieretha, clearly waiting to see how she would react as she watched her buy in money disappear to reappear in front of me as part of my earnings within a single round.
