Inside the Demon Blade Energy Sealing Device, Su Xiao surveyed his surroundings. It looked somewhat like a teleportation formation, except the patterns below were different. Around him were metal pillars arranged in a circle, with arcs of electricity surging between them.
Each metal pillar was engraved with intricate patterns. Just one glance at these patterns gave Su Xiao the feeling that his consciousness was being sucked in.
Boom!
A muffled sound reached Su Xiao's ears. It felt like his chest had been struck by a hammer, the Demon Blade energy had surged out of the Core of Devour, sensing danger despite lacking any subjective consciousness.
Su Xiao pressed a hand to his chest, feeling the energy more violently than ever before. Yet... it was of no use, just a chaotic surge inside his body.
