Kisha's mind immediately drifted to the aerospace alloys and rare materials required for the communicator, resources that were notoriously difficult to obtain. Even if she bought the blueprint from the system mall, would they truly be able to manufacture it?
Did her base have the knowledge or the technical capability to bring such advanced technology to life?
But without trying, she'd never know. And if they succeeded, the communicator could become a valuable asset. She could even sell it to visiting groups during future resource exchanges.
