Alex listened to Vesa's explanation and compared it with what he had seen in the village.
Based on everything so far, Vesa was right. The people here looked like a peaceful tribe.
He had not seen a single weapon. It did not match them to use blood as a daily power source.
He took out a bottle of spice water and dripped it onto another crystal shard.
To his surprise, the crystal reacted in exactly the same way as when he used his blood.
"Since spice water has a similar effect to Life Force, this means I should be able to activate the crystal by pouring Life Force energy into it," he said.
He placed his hand on the crystal and poured a small amount of Life Force into it.
The reaction was the same as with the spice water. The crystal lit up and came alive.
He started testing different amounts of energy.
The result shocked him.
Once he poured energy into the crystal, it stayed active for a while. It was like charging a phone.
