The two-headed gray orangutan leaped from the tree and landed in front of him, pounding its chest. It was challenging him to an open duel.
Matthew drew one of his weapons and tucked the rest into his clothes.
"All right, let's have a duel." He brandished the wooden dagger in front of him and braced for the attack.
The orangutan didn't wait a second longer to strike him head-on. Its fist was enormous, four times the size of Matthew's.
Despite this, Matthew returned the blow with equal strength and determination, moving the wooden dagger so that it struck between the hand and the arm.
The orangutan seemed to have the upper hand at first, since Matthew didn't dodge. He was already lying on the ground with those small bones broken, becoming its meal. But Matthew's attack managed to strike with terrifying precision between the forearm.
