"I didn't dare to hope. I could already tell what your cooking is like from that honey water last night," Ding Long said, finally showing some expression and teasing Ding Jinshi before heading to wash up.
A few minutes later, Ding Long returned to the table and sat down. Seeing Ding Jinshi a few meters away, he started opening the soy milk while asking, "What's your plan for today?"
"I don't know." Ding Jinshi shook her head. "I have to wait for a call about work, so until then, I'm free." Noticing Ding Long eating breakfast leisurely, she asked, "What about you? Are you going to work this morning?"
"Nope." Ding Long replied with just two words before taking a bite of the bun, which was still hot. It seemed that Ding Jinshi had just returned with breakfast when he got up. Even though he couldn't eat a homemade meal by her, he was satisfied that she thought of him while buying it. At least she remembered him during breakfast, right?
