During dinner, Ding Long spoke with Ding Jinshi, but Ding Jinshi kept giving perfunctory answers to her. Even when he deliberately tried to provoke her, Ding Jinshi acted as if she didn't hear, burying her head in her meal without responding.
Ding Long frowned slightly, looking at the woman in front of him who appeared to be eating seriously but hadn't actually eaten much. He wondered to himself, what's wrong with Ding Jinshi today?
After the meal, Ding Long collected the dishes. When he came back from the kitchen, he had a glass of juice in hand. He saw Ding Jinshi sitting on the sofa, seemingly drying her hair with a towel but actually dazing off. He approached her with the juice, "Looks like you didn't eat much at dinner. Do you have something on your mind, affecting your appetite?"
Ding Jinshi took the juice and drank a couple of sips, then shook her head.
Even though Ding Jinshi didn't say anything, Ding Long knew asking was pointless.
