Lin Chan and the group had absolutely no sense of being guests; by the time Ding Long came out, they were already gathered around the table, each with a set of chopsticks, ready to start eating, critiquing his culinary skills while munching away.
Seeing Ding Long come out, Lin Chan turned around and smiled at him, saying, "Ding Long, not bad cooking! If your company ever goes under, consider becoming a full-time chef at my place."
Ding Long raised an eyebrow, "No need to worry, Chan, even if my company goes under, I have a wife to support me. Unlike you, Chan, if your company fails, you'd end up a bachelor wandering the streets."
"Damn!" Lin Chan felt thoroughly insulted by Ding Long's jab, "So you think having a wife makes you so great, huh? I'll have you know I might just get married next year and make back the money from your wedding gift!"
Listening to Lin Chan's comeback, Ding Long merely laughed.
