Maimai opened her eyes, misty with the rain, and her head bumped against Sheng Sheng's shoulder. She glanced at the carpet and, sure enough, there were many clothing bags. She sniffled, wiping her tears away like a sudden clearing of the skies. The next moment, she released Sheng Sheng in a panic, cautiously observing his expression: "Are you really not going to abandon me?"
Sheng Sheng's expression was unusually certain: "Of course not! Which customer service talks such nonsense? How could I possibly leave you there alone and ignore you?"
Resolutely, he smothered the slight unease, and his expression was utterly innocent.
He reached out to gently wipe the tears from Maimai's face, soothing her softly: "There, there, see, it was clearly your misunderstanding of me. Don't cry anymore, or you'll turn into a little panda."
"Mwah!" Maimai grinned broadly, her smile exceptionally beautiful.
"I knew you wouldn't be that bad. You're still caring towards me, Brother Zun, mwah!"
