Upon hearing the words, Mrs. Yu's hand loosened, and the phone slipped through her fingers, crashing to the floor.
Mrs. Yu's phone was well-made, so much so that it didn't break, and she could even hear the butler's voice coming through: "Ma'am? It's over, the Yu family is finished! What shall we do now? Everyone at home is panicking, they're all packing up to flee…"
Mrs. Yu, upon hearing this, glanced down at the phone and then suddenly squatted down, grabbing the phone, and said, "No one is allowed to leave! No one is allowed to go! The Yu family will be alright!"
How could something possibly happen to the Yu family!
"Ma'am? Ma'am?" The butler called twice, clearly unable to hear her, and after a few calls, he hung up.
Mrs. Yu continued to shout at the phone: "Don't hang up, don't leave! Did you hear me?"
Unfortunately, her response was just the dial tone from the other side.
Mrs. Yu crouched on the floor, staring at her phone, feeling utterly distraught.
