Lin Xiaoxiao felt hungry in the middle of the night and left her apartment, planning to grab some late-night snacks at a nearby restaurant.
Just as she stepped out of the building's entrance, she saw a familiar car skidding past her, followed by a screeching stop.
"..." Lin Xiaoxiao watched as the car drifted far ahead of her.

Soon after, she saw Hei Juefeng stepping out of the car with a long coat and scarf, not even bothering to close the car door, out of breath, and running towards her with clouds of white breath.
"Good... good news!" Hei Juefeng panted heavily, standing before Lin Xiaoxiao.
"..."
Taking advantage of a pause, he bent over, placing his hands on his knees, taking deep breaths, then stood up straight, clutching his chest.
"There's good news."
Seeing this, Lin Xiaoxiao chuckled slightly, "What good news has got you this flustered?"
Hei Juefeng grinned, "A huge piece of good news, someone is willing to donate a heart."
