As the light turned on, Valentine Teller's glasses needed a moment to adjust.
Her eyes were so swollen she couldn't open them, but once she adapted, she became incredibly terrified.
Clutching her naked body, she frantically searched for her clothes.
But she couldn't find them, so she grabbed a wrinkled shirt and put it on.
"Don't touch me, don't touch me..."
Her hands were trembling, struggling to even grip the buttons, let alone fasten them.
"I won't touch you, don't worry." Mark Reed reclined on the couch, turning his back to her.
His head was throbbing; despite doing nothing, he felt utterly exhausted.
Perhaps if he had actually done something, he might have felt better.
Feeling miserable all night, she immediately jolts his nerves upon awakening, such a hassle!
"You... you... why are you here?"
Valentine asked in panic, staring at Mark's back.
