"And being a Transcendent is not as easy as one might make it. The gap is limitlessly wide and churning, at the same time, it almost does not exist at all. Simply because transcendence is about defiance."
He continued with a lazy tone.
"Now, if I was never under the law of a Transcendent then it would have been well, not easy, incredibly hard because then my defiance is undefined, I would have to search the whole of my True Name, and soul for what defiance means for me. But you see, being under the Law of a Transcendent surprisingly closes that gap!"
Northern continued to stare at the Prince, listening to him.
While Prince Reis sounded like he was lamenting.
"You see, dear brother, so long we remain beneath our father, we will never become Transcendent. Unless he dies of course. If he dies, I bet I will easily become Transcendent."
He leaned forward, stabbing into Northern with the straight look in his eyes.
