The king was taken by surprise at her request. He looked at Callum who was also as surprised as he was.
"Have you found who to marry?" he asked her.
"I wouldn't have brought it to you if I haven't found who to marry," Isabel responded. "You don't have to worry about the marriage process or the background of the one I want to marry. It is someone you know quite well. Mother will take care of everything so you don't have to worry about a thing. I just need you to announce that I will be getting married."
The king knew instantly that these were the words of the queen, her mother. The king had hoped she would not follow in her mother's path.
"Marriage is a good thing, but…will you be happy?" he asked with concern.
"If you care so much about my happiness, you will grant me this request, Father," she said.
