The tale of one Kozuki Oden.

His escapades when he wasn't yet the Daimyo of Wano, the men who followed him, and why.
His lawless nature and yet the peace he brought to the nation.
Yet he longed for adventure in his heart.
His legendary meeting with one Emperor of the Sea, Edward Newgate.
Their journey throughout the world.
His meeting with a certain woman out of her time.
The time they shared on the ship they sailed on.
The meeting with the man who was going to become the King of the Pirates.
Their journey to find the truth of the world.
Oden's return to Wano and Kaido and Orochi's betrayal.
Oden's half-naked dance on the streets to his boiling.
Everything was said this time around—nothing was held back. By the time Kinemon was done, almost everyone there had moisture in their eyes.
Even Maki, who believed that the dancing Daimyo wasn't worth the hype, had to admit she might have been too quick to judge his character. He might be worthy of her respect.
So was the story of Kozuki Oden.
"And now we, Lord Oden's trusted retainers, have to take revenge for him. It falls onto us to beat Kaido and take back Wano from him and Orochi," Kinemon said with passion, eyes glistening with memories of the past.
"Then what are we waiting for? Let's go and kick that Orochi's and Kaido's ass!" Luffy shouted, eager to throw punches as ever.
"I'm afraid it's not that easy, Lord Luffy. Both Kaido and Orochi have many men under them. They control the entirety of Wano at this point.
Our side, however, lacks not only men but weapons, planning, and strategy. As of now, we are not ready to act against either Kaido or Orochi," Kinemon sighed.
"What, do you mean we should just sit here and do nothing?" Luffy complained.
"Not at all. While you were away, we have been working hard to gather power. Lord Usopp has been a great help in this. We are currently in the process of gathering the remaining forces still loyal to Lord Oden here in Wano.
Many samurai still wish to fight for our cause. We are lacking weapons, though—we still have to do something about that.
Lastly, both Sir Franky and Lady Robin have been working hard to find anything about how we can infiltrate either Orochi's or Kaido's castle. As soon as we are done with those things, we'll have a workable plan ready in our hands. Till then, though, we have to wait."
"Tch, that's boring," Luffy deflated like a punctured balloon.
"Just deal with it," Nami snapped at Luffy for being a pain in the ass.
Once the history lesson was over, it came to task assignments. Everyone had a job—even Luffy. The biggest role he had to play was not to mess up the situation even more.
Yuta ignored the briefing since he knew most of it already. His eyes only showed genuine interest when Nami decided to become a kunoichi and Kinemon, being an old pervert…
Ahem… I mean, the man of culture that he was,
turned Nami's clothes into that of a kunoichi.
In their own words:
"Bewitching…"
Yuta could practically sense Maki's eyes boring into him; however, if earlier he was acting like a pervert in front of her, it would have earned him an annoyed look—but not anymore. Now they were a couple. Can't do that.
Too bad for Maki, she underestimated our hero.
With the power of the Uchiha, all but a mere glance was enough for Yuta to burn the image into his mind for all eternity. A single look was enough; after that, he just turned his eyes away.
Kinemon did earn a smack from Nami after she met a real kunoichi, Shinobu, who wasn't wearing anything nearly as revealing as her.
Good for the health of the general public, if Yuta had any input there.
While the comedy was going on here, out there in Okobore Town, another scene was playing out entirely.
Jack the Drought was fighting Ashura Doji. Ashura was one of Oden's retainers. He, alongside just two others out of the original Nine Red Scabbards, didn't go into the future.
Some might think he was trying to save Okobore Town and its residents from Jack, but that wasn't entirely the case.
These two just came to deal blows as things went on.
The fight itself was pretty much a stalemate—both were almost equally strong.
However, that was when the situation changed.
"Oi, Straw Hat! Yuta! You should look at this!" Law came running inside, his panic evident on his face.
By the time everyone ran outside, they saw dark clouds swirling above Okobore Town. Thunder crackled with intensity, and winds picked up.
Even the fight between both Jack and Ashura Doji halted. They seemed to notice something coming.
Everyone else, far away over at the ruins of old Oden's castle, was left gaping when the monstrous silhouette descended from the sky.
A reptilian figure came into vision.
Azure was its color, flying upon flaming clouds. It was none other than the big boss himself.
"That's Kaido." Yuta finally broke the silence since someone had to introduce the final boss to everyone.
"What!?"
"That's Kaido!!"
"Kaido is a dragon!!!"
Their reaction was understandable. Even from miles away, he looked big enough to cover the entire Okobore Town. His real size must be massive.
The power oozing from him was surreal.
"Why is Kaido here?" Kinemon felt his mind buzzing. How come that overgrown lizard was here in Okobore Town?
"I'm sorry, Kinemon. It's because of us. Yuta here, Straw Hat, Zoro, and I messed up back there," Law willingly admitted his mistake.
Yuta didn't get how it was his fault—he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. However, he just kept staring at Kaido.
Recalling that dreadful time when he was learning under him—yeah, it's payback time, alright.
"Kaido wants me? Then I'll give him that!" Luffy shouted and rushed toward Okobore Town. Recalling Tama was still there, he was worried.
Others tried to stop him, but he was Luffy. Law, gritting his teeth, rushed behind him.
Yuta could have followed if he didn't know better.
And in just a few minutes, Kaido's attention turned to the Oden Castle ruins. With an irritable grunt and drunken frenzy, he opened his mouth, charging his dragon fire.
"!That!"
Maki, Nami, and everyone else felt their hearts stop when Kaido's dragon breath came toward them.
Every fiber of their being screamed at them to run; however, their legs failed to move. Not to mention, they couldn't outrun that. It was a huge attack capable of destroying the entire mountain.
Everyone was frozen in place.
Everyone except Yuta.
Dum Dum…
