A simple voice, just three short words, contained too many emotions.
Huo Jinnan glanced sideways at him, hearing that this voice was genuine.
Gu Jizhou's throat choked for a while, struggling to breathe, "Didn't you say my great-grandfather was no longer in danger? Why hasn't he woken up yet?"
Huo Jinnan, "The doctor said that when it's time for him to wake up, he will."
Gu Jizhou sat aside, "They probably won't give up yet, I'm staying here to watch over my great-grandfather."
Huo Jinnan, "..."
Not hearing his voice, Gu Jizhou looked up at Huo Jinnan, "You don't trust me?"
Huo Jinnan lowered his eyes to look at Gu Jizhou, "Not really, unless you're hiding too deeply for me to see at all."
Gu Jizhou looked at the old man, "That's good, my great-grandfather sheltered me from the storms for so many years, let me guard him here for a few days."
Huo Jinnan, "Okay, no one will disturb you in the next few days."
Gu Jizhou, "Thanks, uncle, for granting me this."
