Helping Zhou Jin tidy up the bowls and chopsticks into the kitchen, Mu Shengfeng intended to leave.
Zhou Jin followed behind Mu Shengfeng, seeing him out.
As they just reached the door, the doorbell rang. Opening the door, a young man in his twenties wearing a uniform politely handed over an envelope, "Hello, your delivery. Please sign for it."
Zhou Jin took the envelope and the pen handed over by the delivery man and signed her name with flair.
As he brushed past, Mu Shengfeng raised an eyebrow, "Are deliveries this dedicated now? Not even resting on New Year's Day?"
Just a casual comment, Mu Shengfeng passed by the delivery man heading towards the parked car outside. Before reaching the car door, he heard Zhou Jin's gasp.
"Shengfeng..."
There was a trace of angry frustration in Zhou Jin's voice.
Mu Shengfeng stopped walking, turned back, and saw Zhou Jin's face turned ashen, looking at the things in her hands as though they were filthy and tainted her.
