Outside the Tiny World, Karl and the beasts that were able to use Earth Manipulation type magic, or nature magic, were busy helping the Clan rebuild some of what they had lost.
Nearly two thirds of the residential areas of the Clan had been destroyed, with most of what was left being in the Elders' residences portion of the compound. Among the apartments, only Karl and Dana's plus a few others that had stronger members living in them had survived.
Most of that was due to them being upgraded with more powerful barriers, and not luck.
That was the same reason that the most important buildings, such as the warehouse, the Alchemy yard and the skill repository were still standing, though the Library had taken a direct hit and had suffered extensive damage to one wing of the building.
Cara and Remi were over there now, doing what they could to help clear the rubble and save the books, while Karl and Leo worked on the apartments close to their own.
