"Y-yeah, she is my friend" Usopp replied with some hesitation but he replied honestly to Robin but little did he know that someone else was eyes shone brighter as soon as he said that
"Usopp, we have both been friends for some time now so your friend shouldn't become my friend too," Nami said this in an excited tone as she came near Usopp while eyes shining like gold
'Her intentions are so clear!!!' Usopp inwardly said this as he could tell just by the look of her eyes what she wanted to achieve by this
Usopp couldn't say this out loud as she afraid that they would get offended which is why he could only silently nod his head
'She looks sick' Yoriichi said this in his mind as he looked towards the girl who was looking out of the window
Due to his extremely good eyesight, he could see how weak her body is, not only that, but he could also tell that her pale skin isn't natural
He couldn't help but wanna examine the girl's condition to know what's happening to her but he dont think he could properly cure her
The girl already has a fortune, surely many doctors have already examined her meaning rather than a virus or some disease, it's an internal problem which can' be solved by simple means and another thing is that he can cure sickness, wounds and injuries
But he can't treat long-term problems, he might give her medicine which will improve the symptoms but curing her completely is difficult
"So what's her name" Robin asked this question with curiosity filled in her head as she looked towards the girl on the balcony
"Kaya" Usopp replied this as there is no point in hiding her name, he just hoped that they won't do anything to her
Kaya seems to be a slim and pale-skinned girl with pale blonde hair that falls to her shoulders. She has wide brown eyes, which are of a sort of lighter shade Despite her fortune, she is wearing simple neat clothing, which is a skirt and jacket

Usopp went on and told them more about Kaya as he wanted them to understand that they needed to treat Kaya gently
Even though he personally does not have much hope for Robin and Nami but he has hope for Yoriichi because from what Usopp knows that Yoriichi is much more hamane than his partners
So because he is their leader, he hopes that they both will also be careful with their words especially Nami after realising her true intentions
After he finished explaining the whole situation about Kaya, they all got a brief understanding of Kaya's situation, as they couldn't help but feel pity for the poor girl
Kaya is a rich girl who received an inheritance after her parents died. After their death, Kaya fell ill, and her caretaker, Klahadore, took care of her. Secretly, the town liar, Usopp, visited Kaya in her mansion to tell her tall tales to make her laugh and feel better.
However, a butler was against this and eventually kicked Usopp out and told Kaya that he was a bad influence
Usopp really considered Kaya as an important friend in her life, since no matter how absurd the story he tells her, she always seems to find his story very fascinating as well and she always seems to believe those stories
He thinks it might be because of the fact that she is sick and can't get out of her room makes her so clueless about the outside world that she believes anything whoever tells her
Or it might be because due to the fact that she has no other friends besides him since due to her health problems, she couldn't go out from the moment she became Sick
He dont know whether the case is true or not but seeing different expressions on her face, especially a smile, brings him joy too as he used to tell her story every day
Even though he kicked him out still somehow climbed the tree, he talked to her and told her the story which also cured her loneliness
After hearing the whole story, Nami whose eyes were previously shining brightly with greed also calmed down as she was also feeling pity for the girl
Since she understands Kaya's pain since Nami also lost her parent at an early age, although only that like Kaya she is also trapped in a birdcage which she can't escape
