A day later Nerissa was walking, smiling and satisfied.
Arriving back on the moon, she had only been gone for sixty-eight hours. Ahead of schedule. She was of course very glad the moon was still here and her hypothetical had not occurred. Her mind had started to get a bit creative in that department and she was starting to worry herself a little.
She shrugged it off though once the moon was in sight and chalked it down to her blooming state.
As she walked along, she noticed all the glares and stares. She had been here for a while and the novelty had worn off for a good majority that had seen her out and about on numerous occasions, but some were still awestruck. Which was to be expected. As long as they didn't bother her, they could look all they wanted.
