Samantha felt the kiss linger for a few moments before Zorina pulled away. Her face was a mixture of relief and disappointment.

"-Shhh." Samantha hushed while bringing Zorina back into a hug and began to stroke her hair affectionately. "It is ok. You were not a fool for doing what you just did. I am not oblivious to the connection between us, Zorina. But what we have isn't lust or romantic love. It's something deeper."
Zorina held Samantha tight as her curiosity got the better of her. "Something deeper?" She asked and Samantha nodded her head.
