A voice cut me off, a rather familiar voice.
I glanced back and found a man standing there with a smile.
"…Uncle."
I crushed the chain in my hand as I stared at the man with silver-platinum hair.
Jones didn't say anything as I broke all the other chains, freeing Elijah.
Standing back up, I looked at the vessel of Baal.
He had a rather amused look on his face, like he was looking at a rather funny situation.
I tilted my head and said in a hoarse voice, "I will be taking Elijah with me."
Jones still had that smirk on his face as he reached out and patted my shoulder.
"It's nice to see you grow." His smile died down. "But do you think you are strong enough to stop a demigod?"
Saying so, he exerted pressure on me as a way to suppress me.
I didn't budge at all, as I gently removed his hand. "I have killed demigods before."
He let out a soft chuckle as Elijah got into a fighting stance.
