"The merger." She whispered softly. "...If you go through it, then you will get yourself killed."
'...Merger?'
Almost instantly, a name appeared in my mind as I turned towards the man.
'....Amun?'
I stared at him without any certainty in my thoughts while the projection kept on going.
The man simply looked at Amunet for a few seconds before his green eyes moved toward the book beside him.
"You're worried."
Amunet's fingers tightened against her dress. "Of course I'm worried."
The man smiled faintly. "You know I can't change my mind now."
"You can always change before it's too late."
Her voice was different from anything I had heard from her before.
There was no coldness or detachment in it. She genuinely sounded afraid.
I slowly moved closer to the projection, trying to understand what I was looking at.
'Is he really Amun?'
The name had appeared in my mind almost instinctively. Clearly, it was related to Amun-Ra, but I couldn't put a finger on it.
