BAM!
A massive aura burst through the ceiling, filling the entire royal palace. It was a wild mix of Lunatic, Reiza, and Irish's power. The pressure alone made the palace shake violently, like a massive earthquake had just struck. Walls cracked and crumbled under the force. Everyone in the palace immediately went on high alert, thinking that some terrible enemy attack had begun.
Aoto, who had been going upstairs, immediately stopped and turned around to run back and check on Scarlett.
"What happened?" Scarlett shouted, looking at them in confusion. She stood up slowly. There was a big crack on the pillar behind her where she had crashed, but there wasn't a single scratch on her body.
BOOM!
Reiza was sent flying out of the room, smashing right through a wall. She was sent flying for almost fifty meters, out of the hallway and into the open ground. But then, she twisted her body in mid-air and landed firmly on her feet. Before Scarlett could ask Reiza anything, Irish and Lunatic also came out of the broken room, still fighting each other.
Clang! Clang! Clang!
Their swords clashed against each other with precise, deadly skill. They continued their fight without giving Scarlett even a single glance.
"Hya!" Irish shouted, putting all her strength behind her sword. She sent Lunatic flying several meters backward. Lunatic's feet rubbed against the ground as she skidded to a stop, landing right next to Reiza.
There was no doubt that Lunatic was holding back. After all, she was the one who had once sent Scarlett flying into the atmosphere with just one punch. She was definitely stronger than both Reiza and Irish individually.
But still, Irish's power was not something to be underestimate. The fact that Lunatic, the succubus queen, actually had to put effort into defeating a human was truly surprising.
"This girl... she is the strongest human I have ever met," Lunatic muttered to herself. "She is on the same level as me when I was Tiathmet and Lunaria. Maybe this the reason Scarlett accepted a human partner" She thought to herself.
A wide, wicked grin appeared on Lunatic's face. She let go of her iron sword and cracked her knuckles. "But that doesn't mean I'll hold myself back for much longer!"
Irish ignored her words completely. She was holding the same sword Scarlett had given her earlier. Her black death aura surged even higher, rolling out like a dark, heavy wave of energy. She looked completely ready for a battle to the death.
Aoto reached the hallway and looked outside at the destruction. He immediately turned around. "I'm out!" he said, and ran away instantly, realizing it was much better not to get involved in this mess.
"Stop it! Why are you three fighting?" Scarlett asked, stepping between them. She extended both arms out to each side, looking like a traffic police officer trying to stop speeding vehicles.
"Don't stop me, honey. I was already holding back because it was festival time, and I didn't want to ruin the mood. But now they have crossed the line, Not to forget you even saw us, It was supposed to be our internal fight, I'll kill them." Irish shouted, her voice filled with pure anger.
"Crossed the line? How?" Scarlett asked back.
"I'm the one who got engaged to you first! So, by that logic, I'm the first wife!" Irish yelled.
"Just because you have an engagement doesn't mean anything! I'm more dedicated to her than you, so I'm getting to be the first wife!" Lunatic argued back.
"No, by our customs, the moment wife defeated me in combat, we were already married. So, I'm the first wife!" Reiza added immediately, pointing at herself.
"I don't believe in your customs," Lunatic said, her lips twitching as she snorted.
"I don't believe in your dedication!", Irish added.
Once again, the tension grew thick in the air. It was as if they were shooting lightning out of their eyes at each other, trying to disintegrate one another on the spot.
To be honest, there wasn't much difference between being a first wife or a second wife. For someone like Scarlett, it was literally the same thing.
But for Irish, Lunatic, and Reiza—or to be honest, for this society in general—being the first wife had a huge social status. The first wife was said to be the closest to their husband. She could automatically become the leader of all the other wives. There were many more perks like that, which was exactly why those three were making such a huge ruckus about it.
"Okay, enough! No need to fight anymore. We'll figure it out later!" Scarlett said, stepping in to stop them.
Yumi, Richard, Ingrassia, and the others also ran out of the palace to see what had happened. They were shocked when they saw the tremblings unfolding before their eyes.
"Did all of this happen in just a few seconds?" Ingrassia muttered to herself in disbelief. The others actually let out a sigh of relief that it wasn't an attack from an outsider.
"Well, I wasn't scared anyways. As long as Scarlett is here, nothing can happen to us," Yumi sighed, feeling safe.
Irish ignored them and asked, "How will we figure it out? No! What is there to figure out?" she said, still looking angry.
"Anything! I promise, okay? Just get along until then. At least try to get to know each other. You'll make great friends!" Scarlett tried to convince them gently.
"Friend..." Irish snorted to herself. Finally, she canceled her black death aura. She crossed her arms over her chest and looked away.
Reiza and Lunatic had similar expressions on their faces. Although Reiza and Lunatic had made a deal to help each other out, this matter was far more important. They had only agreed to collaborate to stand a chance against Irish.
"Irish, you shouldn't do this on your first day here!" Ingrassia came forward to gently scold her.
Irish looked at Ingrassia for a second with narrowed eyes and then looked away. "Okay then, I'll do it after a few days."
"What—? That's not what I meant!" Ingrassia protested, but she instantly gave up, knowing there was no point in arguing with someone like Irish.
"As you wish, but no fighting for now. I will definitely figure something out, okay?" Scarlett said, her voice high-pitched to make her words clear.
"Okay!" Irish, Lunatic, and Reiza said in unison with a sigh.
"Good. Now let's go back and sleep peacefully," Scarlett ordered.
Everyone saw the situation finally getting resolved, at least for now, and started walking back to the royal palace. Scarlett looked at the damaged part of the building.
"Urgh... This will take at least one week to repair!" Her heart ached seeing the terrible sight. She couldn't forget that the fight had only lasted a few seconds. If it had gone on any longer, the damage would have just kept increasing.
Scarlett really needed to think hard about this situation so that no major fights would break out between them in the future. Otherwise, Dreadhaven would definitely face a disaster because of their battles.

Everyone walked back to their rooms to finally rest for the day. Some were still awake, worried that the three of them would start fighting again at any moment.
In Scarlett's bedroom, there was a large master bed. Scarlett sat on the edge of the bed, just about to go to sleep. But then, she saw Irish, Reiza, and Lunatic standing there. They were looking at the bed with deep, thoughtful expressions.
"What happened? Don't tell me you now have a problem with the bed. It's big enough for five people easily!" Scarlett said.
"No, it's about you. Since you will sleep in the middle, I used to sleep on your right side while Reiza slept on your left. But now we are three, so one of us has to sleep away from you," Lunatic said with a solemn, thoughtful voice.
"Of course I will sleep with honey. You had your fill while I was not here. You two better decide between yourselves," Irish replied immediately.
"I'm not going to compromise," Reiza stated.
"Neither am I!" Lunatic added.
Once again, their arguments started all over again. Scarlett could only sigh. "Three girls fighting over me... It would definitely be my favorite dream if this happened a few years ago. But in now, it's kind of frustrating," she thought. She felt confused, wondering if she should feel happy or frustrated by the whole situation.
As the argument grew louder, Scarlett immediately stepped in. "Stop all of you! If you have that much of a problem, then I'll just sleep on the floor!" she threatened.
"No need, I have a good Lunatic replied with an evil, mischievous smile.

The problem was finally solved, but how?
Well, it was a very complicated position. Lunatic was on the right side, hugging Scarlett, while Irish was on the left, also hugging her.
As for Reiza and Scarlett?
Reiza was actually laying down in the middle of them, her face facing the ceiling. Scarlett was laying right on top of Reiza, using her like a living bedsheet.
Since Reiza could technically hug and cuddle Scarlett anytime she wanted, she was more than happy to sleep like that.
But Scarlett clearly felt it was quite awkward. "Isn't this position a bit awkward?" she said, feeling like she was a mummy stuck in a coffin.
"Definitely not!" all three of them said in unison, agreeing on something for the very first time.
"Whatever..." Scarlett exhaled and decided to just fall asleep. Thankfully, being hugged from all sides felt warm and comfortable, so she quickly drifted off.
The night passed quickly, but as midnight approached, Scarlett's eyes shot open. Her senses were screaming that something was wrong. She sat up and saw she was next to Irish. Meanwhile, Reiza and Lunatic were hugging each other in their deep sleep, not realizing they were wrapped up in each other's arms.
Scarlett didn't waste a single second. She had a habit of taking off her clothes in her sleep, but since it was midnight, she was still fully dressed.
She stood up from the bed and immediately walked out of the room. She started pacing through the hallways, her eyes darting around everywhere.
She looked outside at the balcony and even up at the ceiling, but there was nothing there. Still, she didn't stop her pacing.
Then, all of a sudden, she stopped. She took a step back and reached her hand into a dark corner of the hallway. As she stretched her arm back, her palm grabbed a woman's neck, lifting her into the air.
The woman's expression was slightly panicked, like a culprit who had just been exposed. She struggled slightly in Scarlett's iron grip.
"Feyre... I wonder what a teacher is doing here in the middle of the night?" Scarlett asked solemnly. The woman was none other than Feyre, the vampire she had met not long ago. She had said she came to become a teacher at DreadHaven, but now it felt like she had deeper schemes.
"Why are you here? And who sent you? Better answer quickly," Scarlett said, her voice serious and low.
But then, Feyre's panicked expression turned into a smiling face. "Why does it matter? I already did my work anyway," she chuckled.
The next second, her body turned into countless small bats flapping their wings. They flew away from Scarlett's grip, escaping into the darkness. Before Scarlett could even think, most of the bats were already gone. Without a doubt, she had escaped.
"What work?" Scarlett muttered, clenching her fist in anger.
****
Scribble... Scribble... Scribble...!
The feather pen moved across the paper as letters were written down in a book.
"Even if Scarlett might not have any unique skill that countered Feyre's unique skill, still, Scarlett's resistance alone was more than enough to block the effects of Feyre's unique skill!"
Scribble!... Scribble!... Scribble!...!
"But still, somehow passing all oddity, bypassing all logic, even if little, her unique skill still worked on Scarlett Nova."
"Why?"
Writing down all this in her world of books, Sylvania chuckled to herself as she wrote down the last line.
"Because big sis says so!"
