Young Aether slowly licked the blood from the corner of his lips before letting out a quiet chuckle. His crimson pupils in the void glowed with cruel amusement as he stared directly into the Commander's trembling face.
"Don't worry..." he said with a sinister smile that slowly spread across his face. "I'll take good care of your daughter as well. After all..." He tilted his head from one side to the other, his grin becoming increasingly twisted.
"I'm her daddy... right?~"
The moment those words entered the Commander's ears, something inside him finally broke.
His pupils violently contracted before countless crimson cracks spread across his irises, as though the very foundation of his sanity had fractured beyond repair. Every fabricated memory Young Aether had planted moments ago merged with his emotions until the illusion became indistinguishable from reality.
