While Aether was surprised by Arcane's involvement, in the outside world, Jonathan, Sasha, and Allen were searching for any clues that could reveal where he had gone.
To their surprise, Aether's Mech-suit had been missing ever since he left.
At first, they assumed that Aether had simply taken it with him. However, after checking the nearby security cameras, they discovered that Lily was the one who had taken Aether with her.
They traced her vehicle and eventually found it parked near the slums.
There was no footage of Lily entering the slum with anyone, nor was there any evidence of the vehicle leaving afterwards.
It was as if the two of them had simply vanished into thin air.
The discovery left Jonathan with countless questions, but one bothered him more than the others.
Why would Lily deliberately park her vehicle near the slum?
That was why they entered the slum, hoping to find some trace of Lily and Aether hidden somewhere within the crowded settlements.
