The weather was too hot. Lun Chuan and Qiaoqiao kept using tissues to wipe their sweat. Seeing their big aunt reluctantly holding the remote control, Song Tan couldn't be bothered to linger any longer and simply said:
"Aunt, we'll be leaving soon—by the way, it's really hot in your room. Here are 50 pounds of Sunshine Rose grapes from Baiyu County. They can sell for 60 yuan a pound locally, and they're of excellent quality. Where would you like them placed?"
What kind of grapes cost 60 yuan a pound?!
The aunt was so worried she was almost jumping.
If they wanted fruit, they could go to the supermarket for a stroll in the evening when there's a sale and get a big bag for just a couple of yuan!
"Why are you giving this to me? Why give it to me? Why not take it to your village to impress the others and earn some goodwill..."
"Don't refuse, Aunt."
Song Tan said, "I drove all the way from Baiyu County with these. If you keep refusing, the grapes will spoil in this heat."
