Good times didn't last long.
Yuna walked toward the academy with a heavy heart, her legs dragging as if they belonged to someone else.
The moment she stepped into the classroom, someone pounced on her. Yuna didn't even have the energy to dodge.
"Yunaaaa, I missed you sooo much!"
Celeste's bright, bubbly voice rang in her ear.
The whine would have been endearing to anyone else. Unfortunately, it fell on Yuna.
"I talked about you a lot to my parents! Next time we have a break, they want to meet you!"
Celeste shook her persistently.
"Will you come?"
"Will you?"
"Will you?"
Wanting to silence the relentless chatter beside her ear, Yuna pushed her away and said offhandedly, "Sure, sure…"
Only then did Celeste reveal a satisfied smile and let her go.
Her family had been genuinely curious about the person who helped their daughter better understand and develop her ability in such an innovative way.
