In the doctor's office, Lu Shaoyuan reached out and pinched the bridge of his nose. He had already seen nearly a hundred patients this morning.
Standing up, he walked out of the office and went to the vending machine in the lobby to buy a cup of coffee, drinking it while walking back toward his office.
Suddenly, out of the corner of his eye, he saw a familiar face. He looked carefully and found it was Luo Yao, sitting on a bench in the lobby with a frown, seemingly troubled by something.
So, he walked up behind her with his coffee, intending to greet her, but as he lowered his head, he saw the ultrasound report in her hands. As a doctor, he knew the results with just one glance at the data.
He opened his mouth in surprise, "You're pregnant?"
Luo Yao jumped in shock. Seeing it was Lu Shaoyuan, she quickly put the report back into her bag, "None of your business!"
She hurriedly stood up to leave, but Lu Shaoyuan grabbed her and said in a deep voice, "Luo Yao, is this child mine?"
