Early in the morning, Mi Xiaotao walked into the office and saw Wang Xinyuan staring blankly, leaning against the back of the chair. She approached and tapped her fingers on the desk, teasing, "Xinyuan, zoning out so early in the morning, are you pining for love?"
"What nonsense! No, I'm not!"
Wang Xinyuan snapped out of it and awkwardly denied it. She looked at Mi Xiaotao and asked with concern, "Xiaotao, are you feeling better?"
That day, Mi Xiaotao's face was ashen, quite scary, but today she looked rosy and vibrant.
"I'm fine, I've taken a day off, what could be wrong?"
Mi Xiaotao raised an eyebrow at Wang Xinyuan, "But look at you, you seem so out of it first thing in the morning!"
"Oh, I just didn't sleep well last night!"
Wang Xinyuan picked up her cup and stood up, "Looks like I need a strong coffee! Not chatting with you anymore, I'm going to the pantry."
"OK!"
