Susan glanced around, seeing no one paying them any attention. She leaned closer to Cheng Meixue, lowering her voice, "I'm taking a big risk helping you get revenge! An outstanding man like Mr. Lu should be yours. Why should Mi Xiaotao steal him away? If she's out of the picture, you can get closer to Mr. Lu!"
She made it sound like she was doing this terrible thing for Cheng Meixue, but in truth, it was entirely for herself. Cheng Zhiming had a special affection for Mi Xiaotao, which made her incredibly jealous.
