Loken felt hollow as his extreme emotions just disappeared from his mind.

Some more Wind Blades tore through the air. His body was chopped into many pieces. And yet, his vitality didn't fade away because of the wood-element roots that wrapped around his trunk.
As he lay on the ground, his chopped limbs scattered around him, something strange began to happen. Soft sounds—almost like plants pushing through soil—rose from each broken piece of his body.
Tiny buds peeked out from the torn flesh. At first they looked like small dark seeds, but then they opened slowly, like waking from sleep.
From the stump of his arm, pale Flowers of Pain bloomed. Their petals shivered with a faint red glow, as if drinking in something unseen.
