Third person POV
After they sneak back into the house and on the way to their room, they are stopped by Kazaki's older sister Reina. "Both of you," she asked with a bit of a stern look on her face. "Where were you both?"
Roel and Kazaki were startled by it.
"Um, we went out for a walk after dinner, right, Roel?" Kazaki said to Reina on the first part, then to Roel on the second.
"Yeah, we did, Kazaki-kun." Roel chuckles nervously.
"Then why did you two take your weapons with you?" Reina asked.
"Uh, it's because we…" Kazaki responded while struggling to come up with a reason that was made up to hide what he and Roel had been doing hours ago.
"You guys were fighting monsters?
"Totally for self-defense, yeah..."
Roel was silent at this point.
Hearing her brother's confession, Reina smiled back. "Looks like I have a new story to tell mom and dad about."
"You would not dare because I know something myself!" Kazaki retaliated back.
Roel was surprised to hear that, and he thought, "Wait, what the flip…?"
Reina, now sweating, nervously says, "No, you don't!"
Kazaki then snickered in mischief. "Remember? Last night, you and that…"
Reina put her finger on Kazaki's mouth, saying, "Oh, little brother. My nice little brother, my best brother in the whole world, I think it's time you for to sleep."
As she dragged Kazaki to his room, Kazaki told Roel, "Mission done, you have nothing to worry about. See ya in the morning"
Watching his friend being dragged by Reina, Roel gave a slight smile before heading to his room, which was his frequent room whenever he was in Kazaki's home, for the night.
He was assured that Kazaki would be fine.
