The excitement of the day at Tangelo Island's Pokémon Theme Park had finally settled into a peaceful night. The group had checked into a cozy beachside resort on the island a quiet villa with private hot springs and a beautiful view of the ocean under the starry sky.
The theme park had been everything they hoped for: thrilling rides, delicious food, and plenty of time for their Pokémon to play and relax. But as the sun dipped below the horizon and the stars came out, the group returned to the villa for some much-needed rest.
Ash sat on the wooden deck overlooking the calm sea, the cool night breeze brushing against his skin. Pikachu was curled up on his lap, fast asleep after a long day of fun. Eevee and Togepi were dozing nearby, while the rest of the Pokémon were resting comfortably in their balls or wandering the garden area.
Misty, Sabrina, and Daisy were inside the villa, chatting softly and preparing for bed. Giselle had reluctantly gone to her own small room, still adjusting to her role. Tracey had excused himself earlier to sketch the night sky and the island's nocturnal Pokémon.
Ash, however, couldn't sleep yet. His mind was on the new rewards he had gained from capturing Lapras. He mentally opened his system and stared at the glowing item in his inventory.

A rare, shimmering crystal pulsing with pure Ice-type energy. It was the special reward from the hidden mission a core that could trigger a powerful evolution and mutation when used on the right Pokémon.
Ash looked toward the small Poké Ball containing the young Lapras they had rescued and captured earlier that day. She had been shy and quiet during the theme park visit, but she had clearly enjoyed the gentle rides and the company.

He stood up quietly, walked to a secluded part of the garden where the moonlight was brightest, and released Lapras from her Poké Ball.

Ash knelt down and placed a hand on her shell. "You've been through a lot today. But I think you're ready for something special. This Ice Crystal Core… it's for you. Are you ready?"
Lapras tilted her head, then gave a happy nod, her eyes shining with trust.
Ash smiled and activated the item through the system.

A brilliant, icy-blue light erupted from the crystal in Ash's hand. The light enveloped Lapras completely, wrapping her in a swirling vortex of frost and shimmering energy. Lapras let out a surprised but excited cry as her body started to change.

A crown of ice crystals formed on her head, sparkling like a royal tiara. Her flippers lengthened into elegant, flowing fins that shimmered with frost. Her eyes gained a regal, icy-blue glow, and a majestic aura of pure Ice-type energy radiated from her.
The evolution and mutation were dramatic and beautiful. Lapras's form grew in size and presence no longer a small, timid baby, but a majestic Ice Empress Lapras. Her new appearance was regal and powerful, like a queen of the frozen seas.
Ash watched in awe as the light finally faded.

The rest of the group, who had heard the commotion, rushed outside just in time to witness the final moments of the transformation.
Misty's eyes widened. "Whoa… Lapras evolved? She looks like a queen ash what kind of magic have you done once again hmm!"
Sabrina's violet eyes glowed faintly as she sensed the massive power increase. "The mutation… it's extraordinary. Her aura is completely different now."
Daisy stepped forward with her bright sunny aura, smiling warmly. "She's beautiful. And so strong. You did well, Ash. She looks like she belongs with us now."
Giselle stood frozen, staring at the majestic Ice Empress Lapras. "You know what iam done with this…? I… I don't even know what to say anymore."
Tracey's sketchbook was already out, his pencil flying across the page. "This is incredible! A mutated Lapras with a queen-like form! I have to draw this right now!"
Ash was still staring at the stats, jaw dropped and just thought to himself. "She jumped over 40 levels… and gained so many powerful Ice moves. Sheer Cold with a 20% chance on top of a 50% boost… this is going to be devastating in battles."
Ice Empress Lapras swam closer to Ash, nuzzling against him gently with her elegant head. Her eyes were full of gratitude and loyalty.
Ash gently stroked her crystalline crown. "Welcome to the team, Ice Empress. You're going to be amazing."
The newly evolved Lapras let out a proud, majestic cry that echoed across the beach, as if declaring herself the queen of the frozen seas.
The group gathered around her, admiring her new form and sharing in the excitement.
Misty grinned. "She's going to destroy anyone who tries to mess with us now!"
Sabrina smiled softly. "Her power feels… regal. Fitting for a queen."
Daisy nodded, her big-sister warmth shining through. "She's part of the family now. We'll all help her grow stronger."
Giselle shook her head, still in disbelief. "This group… I don't think I'll ever get used to it."
Tracey was sketching furiously. "This is the best day of my life as a watcher!"
Ash looked at his team human and Pokémon with a full heart. The Orange Islands had already given them an incredible new companion.
The night was still young, but the future felt brighter than ever.
