High above the turbulent seas, Lawrence III's massive aircraft sliced through the stormy skies like a predator. Inside the luxurious command center, holographic displays flickered to life. The computer system suddenly beeped with an alert.
"Target acquired," the mechanical voice announced.
"Zapdos detected approaching Fire Island."
Lawrence leaned forward in his chair, eyes gleaming with greed. "Excellent. The second bird is on its way. Soon, all three will be mine… and then Lugia."
On Shamouti Island, the Legend Festival had taken on a more uneasy tone. Islanders gathered around television screens and radios as emergency news broadcasts interrupted the celebrations.
The reporter's voice was grave:
"Unusual weather phenomena are being reported across multiple regions. Scientists are baffled by a mysterious underwater river that appears to snake its way around the globe, severely disrupting ocean currents, weather patterns, and climates. Storms are forming without warning, and temperatures are fluctuating wildly…"
The screen showed a detailed simulation of the massive underwater current twisting like a serpent beneath the oceans, causing chaos on the surface.
Carol watched with worry, clutching her hand. "This is exactly what the prophecy warned about…"
Meanwhile, on Maren's speed boat, the situation was becoming increasingly dangerous. The storm had intensified, waves crashing violently against the hull. Ash, Misty, and Sabrina held on tightly as the boat rocked wildly.
Pikachu and Eevee, sensing the urgency, stood at the front of the boat, their expressions serious as they stared ahead.
Pikachu's ears twitched. "Pika-pi!"
Eevee nodded determinedly. "Eevee!"
The two small Pokémon suddenly leaped forward, guiding Maren toward a specific direction Fire Island. Their instincts were sharp, leading the group straight to the location of the Fire Sphere.
Maren gripped the wheel, fighting the currents. "These two really know where they're going! Hang on!"
Not far behind, another boat carrying Melody, Daisy, Giselle, and Tracey was also battling the storm. The waves grew fiercer, and suddenly a massive swell hit them.
The boat flipped violently, crashing against a sharp rock formation. Everyone was thrown into the churning water, but they managed to climb back onto the damaged vessel, soaking wet and shaken.
Melody tried to stay calm, wringing out her clothes. "Everyone okay? We're almost there!"
Melody, drenched but determined, hoisted a makeshift sail using whatever fabric she could find. "The wind is strong! Use it to our advantage!"
With the sail catching the powerful gusts, their boat surged forward, ascending a series of natural rocky steps formed by the crashing waves, riding the storm toward Fire Island.
Back on Lawrence's aircraft, the collector stood before a reinforced glass chamber, admiring his latest prize. Inside, the captured Moltres glared back at him with burning fury, flames flickering weakly around its body.
Lawrence smiled coldly.
"Beautiful… absolutely priceless. And soon, you'll have company."
The computer voice chimed again. "Zapdos has arrived at Fire Island."
Lawrence's smile widened. "Perfect timing."
On Fire Island itself, the volcanic landscape was shrouded in smoke and ash. Pikachu and Eevee led Ash, Misty, and Sabrina through the rugged terrain with urgency.
The two small Pokémon stopped in front of an ancient stone pedestal, upon which rested a glowing red orb the Fire Sphere.
Pikachu pointed excitedly. "Pika-pi!"
Eevee nudged Ash's leg. "Eevee!"
Ash stepped forward and carefully took the Fire Sphere from the pedestal. The orb pulsed warmly in his hands, radiating the power of fire.
At that exact moment, Melody boat arrived at the shore of Fire Island, carrying Daisy, Giselle, and Tracey. with skill melody used the wind to carry the boat to the centre of the island were ash and girls they jumped out and ran toward Ash's group, relieved to see them safe.
But their reunion was interrupted by a thunderous cry from above.
Zapdos had arrived.
The legendary Electric Bird soared majestically over the island, electricity crackling around its wings.
Pikachu and Zapdos locked eyes. Sparks flew between them as they communicated through bursts of electrical energy.
Zapdos's message was clear and proud: This island is ruled by Moltres. Now that it is gone, I shall claim it as my own.
The tension in the air thickened as the legendary bird hovered powerfully above them, ready to assert dominance over Fire Island.
The tension on Fire Island reached its peak as Zapdos hovered powerfully above the group, electricity crackling around its wings. Pikachu stood protectively in front of Ash, sparks flying from his cheeks in response.
The legendary Electric Bird's presence was overwhelming, its cry echoing across the volcanic landscape.
Suddenly, a massive shadow loomed overhead. Lawrence III's colossal aircraft descended from the stormy clouds like a mechanical predator. High-tech energy beams shot out from the ship, locking onto Zapdos and rapidly draining its power.
The legendary bird roared in fury and pain as its electric aura weakened dramatically.
Before anyone could react, capture nets and energy fields launched from the aircraft, ensnaring Zapdos and pulling it into the ship's holding chamber.
The same nets swept across the boat, capturing everyone on Melody's boat Melody, Daisy, Giselle, and Tracey along with Ash, Misty, and Sabrina.
Chaos erupted for a moment. Ash and Sabrina, with their combined psychic and aura abilities, could have easily broken free from the energy nets. But Ash quickly raised a hand, signaling Sabrina to hold back. His eyes were sharp and calculating.
"Wait," Ash whispered urgently to his girls.
"Let's see what's going on. Someone is behind the disappearance of Moltres and now the capture of Zapdos. We need to find out who and why."
Misty, Sabrina, Daisy, and Giselle exchanged worried glances but trusted Ash completely.
They calmed down, though they stayed close to him protectively.
Melody, who had been struggling in the net, suddenly felt an unexpected sense of security when she looked at Ash. His calm leadership in the middle of the crisis made her relax slightly, even as they were all pulled into the aircraft's lower holding chamber.
Inside the dimly lit chamber, the group found themselves in a reinforced energy cage alongside the captured Zapdos and, to their shock, the weakened Moltres in a separate containment unit.
Tracey's eyes widened as he looked at the two legendary birds. "Moltres and Zapdos… both captured! This is terrible!"
Melody noticed an ancient stone tablet embedded in the wall. She stepped closer and began reading the etched Shamouti Prophecy aloud:
"Disturb not the harmony of fire, ice and lightning, Lest these titans wreak destruction upon the world with their clash…"
Lawrence III's voice echoed through the speakers as he observed from the command center. "Soon I will have all three legendary birds. And once I possess them, Lugia will reveal itself to me."
The ship's computer suddenly announced, "Articuno detected. Location confirmed."
Lawrence smiled triumphantly. "Excellent. Set course for Articuno."
He left the command center to prepare for the next capture.
Scene Change – A Remote Island
Articuno, the legendary Ice Bird, soared gracefully over a peaceful island. With a powerful cry, it unleashed a devastating Ice Beam. The beam struck the island, rapidly freezing the land and the surrounding waters in a thick layer of ice. The once-green island transformed into a frozen wasteland within moments.
News Broadcast
Emergency news reports were spreading rapidly across the regions. "A massive migration of Pokémon is occurring toward a single island in the Orange Archipelago. All species capable of crossing water are heading in the same direction. Scientists are baffled…"
In Kanto, Professor Oak had urgently traveled to the Orange Islands due to the emerging crisis. He stood with other experts as reporters swarmed them.
One reporter asked, "Professor Oak, what do you believe is causing this phenomenon?"
Professor Oak adjusted his glasses with a serious expression.
"I suspect the legendary birds Moltres, Zapdos, and Articuno are involved. Their balance has been disturbed. If this continues, the consequences could be catastrophic for the entire world."
Back at Shamouti Island
A sudden snowstorm had begun battering the island. Carol stood at the edge of the village, watching the worsening weather with deep worry. "Melody… please be safe…"
Back in the Lower Chamber of Lawrence's Ship
Melody stood in front of the stone tablet again, reading the rest of the prophecy with a trembling voice. The group listened in heavy silence, the weight of the ancient words pressing down on them as the aircraft continued its ominous journey.
The situation had become far more dangerous than anyone had anticipated.
