Upon hearing Ruan Qi's cry, Eddie instantly knew things were going wrong. He hurriedly rushed over to help the fat man subdue Ruan Qi.
"This woman is allergic to ether. I've used a lot of ether, but it only made her pass out for less than two hours."
The fat man said, "Then can't you just knock her out?"
"There was an unexpected incident; she had diarrhea, and it smelled awful. I didn't want to touch her." As he recalled the foul smell earlier, Eddie's stomach churned again. He reached out to grab Ruan Qi's arm, wanting to press her against the car seat. Suddenly, Herman stepped forward and very proactively took over his task.
"Let me do it. You've been driving for so long; you must be exhausted. I'll hold her down."
Eddie indeed felt a bit tired, and since Herman was willing to help, he promptly released his grip.
Herman reached out, grabbed Ruan Qi's wrist, and forcefully pressed her onto the floor mat in the trunk.
"Stay still! Move again and I'll kill you!"
