Shangguan Xiao was groggy, having just woken up.
Her room was exceptionally soundproofed, so she was completely unaware of the chaos outside.
Her throat was dry, but she didn't want to drink water, so she fumbled for a piece of fruit. Just as she was about to eat it, she felt a sharp pain at her fingertips.
She lifted her hand and looked at her fingertip, where a particularly beautiful white spider was sitting.
"What is this?" she wondered.
The spider's venom subtly entered her fingertip and began to spread.
Shangguan Xiao, oblivious, took a few steps and suddenly saw three brightly colored snakes hissing and flicking their tongues at her.
"Where did these snakes come from?"
Shangguan Xiao realized something was amiss. This was an outer planet, outside the domain. Where on earth did these spiders and snakes come from?!
"HISS, HISS!!!" The three brightly colored snakes, seeming to take a dislike to her, suddenly rushed towards her.
