After finally defeating the powerful plant monster, an even stronger mystery adventurer who looks like they are in their late teens with scaly wings descends into the cavern. The new adventurer suddenly attacks Damion believing him to be the creator of the caverns.
The mystery adventurer lunges towards Damion with incredible speed. Adam is standing in front of Damion and is able to lift his broken sword in time to parry. The mystery adventurer swings his golden sword and cuts off a piece of Adam's already half size sword. The mystery adventurer then uses his other hand to quickly grab Adam's arm and toss him into a wall.
Adam(in his head)-"My sword was already broken. But he just slashes through it like butter"
Adam bounces off of the wall and lands on the ground.
???-"I don't know what's up with you guys, but I'm just here to kill this thing"
Joe-"Wait!"
The mystery adventurer stabs downwards with his sword.
Damion-"Dark skill: spacial unbinding"
Damion vanishes from the attack and teleports a couple meters away still lying on the ground. The mystery adventurer raises his sword back up and continues pursuing Damion.
Joe-"There has to be a misunderstanding. The Atlas you're talking about is the guild master right?
The mystery adventurer leaps towards Damion and he teleports out of the way again.
Joe-"We know him, there's no way he would want you to attack Damion. If you're looking for the giant monster we already killed it so stop!"
The mystery adventurer stops and looks over at Joe. The man then dashes towards Joe faster than he could blink. Then the man then lightly slaps Joe in the face which causes Joe to fall over and then the man runs back after Damion.
Marigold(in her head)-"Who is this guy? Also how is Damion teleporting? I thought he could just decrease the distance between himself and something else"
???-"No way you guys killed an upper A rank monster. This guy has A rank levels of dark magic so it's clearly him. I'm not bothering with you guys"
Elise-"Evolved skill: solar beam"
Elise shoots a beam of plasma at the man. He then slashes at the beam. The swing of the sword causes a long range slash that distorts the light around it and cuts through Elise's spell circle.
Elise-"For someone who doesn't care about us you sure talk a lot! Who are-"
The man dashes to Elise and instantly appears right in front of her.
???-"Not talking would be rude. Especially to a lady like you"
The mystery adventurer then punches Elise in the stomach.
???-"But you did attack me first"
Elise gasps.
Elise(in her head)-"That was just a normal punch. He didn't even put much effort into it but it hurts this bad"
Marigold(in her head)-"Wait those scaly wings along with that yellow and red hair"
Marigold-"That's Prince Archimedes!"
Joe is massaging the side of his face which has a red hand mark.
Joe-"As in the Prince of the dragonfolk? Isn't he an S rank hunter?"
Adam(in his head)-"An S rank, that would explain why he is so powerful. That slash he used against Elise, I could tell by the way space bent around it. That was definitely a dimension cutting slash, very few swordsmen have ever mastered that kind of attack"
Archimedes-"Hm?"
Archimedes looks down.
Archimedes-"Oh I didn't notice you down there"
Marigold-"Stop this now! Damion isn't an enemy?"
Archimedes-"...?"
Marigold-"The guy you're trying to kill"
Archimedes-"He's the only source of dark magic around for miles. Also he's way to strong to have gotten that from nothing"
Marigold-"You don't understand he-"
Archimedes-"Ascended holy skill: time binding chains"
Archimedes's sword transforms into multiple glowing golden chains that hover in front of him. Archimedes snaps his fingers and in an instant the chains become wrapped around Adam, Elise, and Joe while Marigold gets stuck inside one of the chain links. Damion stops his teleporting to see that everyone else is frozen in place.
Archimedes-"Everyone here seems to really be defending you. They under some kind of mind control or something?"
Damion-"Can you leave?"
Archimedes-"You want me to leave"
Damion-"I've already dealt with a lot today. And I have a big headache. Also let my friends go"
Archimedes-"You're friends huh? You know that would make them all accomplices to a dark magic user"
Damion-"Why are you like this?"
Archimedes-"I'm not listening to your excuses. You use dark magic so I already know you had to kill someone for that. And with how much of it you have you certainly have absorbed a bunch of souls. Honestly I don't understand it, there are so many other ways to get that strong and people like you take the most absurd path"
Damion-"No I'm-"
Archimedes snaps his fingers in that instant Damion is also wrapped up in the time binding chains.
Archimedes-"Didn't expect this to turn into such a hassle"
Archimedes scratches his head in thought.
Archimedes-"You know, I think Atlas did mention something about some guy named Damion. I think he was a curseborn or something. Maybe they are the same dude"
Archimedes looks over at Damion.
Archimedes-"I wasn't really paying attention though, did he want me to find them or..."
Archimedes sighs.
Archimedes-"Ugh I can't remember, great now Oswald and Reinhardt are gonna scold me again. 'You need to pay more attention when others are talking. You need to be more responsible' all that annoying stuff. I mean seriously they don't respect me at all. I mean I'm a prince and like one of the strongest people in the world but nooooo"
Archimedes looks over at Damion again.
Archimedes-"Maybe I should just... leave them here. Go back to double check and, no! If I do that they'll know I messed up and scold me for it. Ugh! Okay think"
Archimedes sits down on the ground folding his scaly wings into his back.
Archimedes-"I mean I'm definitely supposed to kill him right? That's like 99% what I gotta do. I feel like I'm forgetting another name though, what was it? Like Jules or something? Is that one of these guys?"
Desmond(in Damion's head)-"Dark skill: time unbinding"
A dark spell circle appears in front of Damion. The spell frees him from the golden chains.
Archimedes-"How'd you manage to do that? I didn't even hear you cast a spell"
Damion(in his head)-"I thought I heard Desmond. I've felt so weird today"
Archimedes(in his head)-"I only know a couple people who can break out of time binding chains. How did he manage to do it?"
Archimedes-"Hey so uh, do you know a Jules guy?"
Damion-"Joe?"
Archimedes-"Nah, well whatever. You've caused me enough of a headache"
Julius-"Stop!"
Archimedes-"Who was that?"
