He had told me that he had just taken over the role of mayor after the previous one had perished, and that is the one who requested my help. The robot who was making people go insane and terrorizing the local population, which was a robot known as a Nemesis. The title Nemesis is given to a robot that is strong enough to destroy an entire town. It resided atop the tallest mountain in range of the Fortress. Its known abilities were to create illusions and manipulate one's mind, a manipulator class robot. It would put in false realities without you realizing it. It could even speak to you clearly in such illusions. It wasn't lacking in physical ability either, being strong enough to smash a boulder with a finger. After the briefing on the Nemesis-Class manipulator I headed to my sleeping quarters and sat on my assigned bed. I contemplated how I could fight such a beast. Then a thought popped in my head; if it's strong physically and has the ability to create illusions then it must be weak defensively. It's probably big and bulky and is unable to avoid attacks so if I resist the illusion and dodge its attacks I should have an easy shot! I clenched my fist in victory hoping my plan would succeed, drifting off to sleep momentarily.
