The blinding cocoon hanging in the sky of the Seventh Layer of Hell pulsed with increasing intensity, its radiance growing until it became impossible to look at directly. The air trembled under the weight of its power, and the laws of reality around it seemed to warp and bend as if struggling to contain what lay within.
Then, without warning, it collapsed inward, vanishing from the Higher Dimension where most of the physical universe existed. To any observer left behind, it was as if the warriors within had simply ceased to exist.
Yet inside the cocoon, the experience was anything but an end. The True Depravitas, the White Death, and Altharion felt themselves engulfed by waves upon waves of multicolored light.
